The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD), Mr. James David Lalu, has joined millions of Nigerian to congratulate Mr. Mohammed Abba appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Disability matters to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The message was contained in a release by Mbanefo JohnMichaels, Head Media, NCPWD yesterday.
The statement reads “On behalf of the 35 million Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria, I sincerely wish to appreciate the President and Commander -in- Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Mr. Mohammed Abba Isa to his cabinet as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Disability matters
“This appointment I know, will further increase the visibility and inclusions of Persons with Disabilities in governance, as it is also a clear testament to Mr. President’s determination towards ensuring that every segment of the society is sufficiently catered for within the ambit of the Renewed Hope.
“I believe also that this appointment is a clear definition of a round peg in a round hole. “
