The Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has assured Abuja residents of more development and project deliveries targeted at making life more pleasurable as Abuja witness more rural migration.
The Minister made the statement during the commissioning of projects in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).
“I want to assure Abuja residence that we in the FCT Administration will continue to do our best to bring new frontiers in pursuit of excellence in governance and humanity. We are a government that is centered on service delivery. We are aware of the yearning of the people, Gods willing, with your support, our commitment to duty, and with sincerity of purpose we will deliver as expected.

“We can build a society of our dream, of our expectation and yearnings”, the Minister of state said.
“In line with the current Administration philosophy of continuity, we in the FCT Administration have remained focus on completing abandoned project rather than abandoning them. We will proceed on the task of developing FCT by meeting the yearning and aspiration of the growing population of the FCT.”
“I commend the Executive Chairman, of AMAC and his management team for the laudable projects they are delivering to the people of Abuja municipality, the delivery of these projects are in line with our mandate to deliver dividends of democracy to our people.”
Earlier the Executive Chairman, AMAC, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido expressed appreciation to the Minister for building a conducive working environment for the Chairmen of the Area Councils.
He noted that AMAC under his regime is in its fifth year in office with numerous projects that are aimed at improving the living standards of AMAC residence.

“We have delivered these infrastructural projects which we have completed and slated for commissioning today by our amiable Minister of State for the FCT. These projects are the Blocks of Offices to accommodate more staff in order to enhance their service delivery and the Community Town Hall located in Jiwa, to serve the people of that community.
Other projects completed include, Health Care Centre at AMAC Housing Estate, Sabo Lugbe, Blocks of Classrooms at Karchi Community which is almost completed, and several other projects”, Candido said.
