As the campaigns for the 2023 elections heats up across the federation, several organizations have drummed support for Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as the rightful candidate to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari and deliver on the much needed reform.
The National Coordinator of the Bola Tinubu Support Organisation, Abubakar Abdullahi Kuso, describing the former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as a leader that believes in an all-inclusive government, capable of assembling the best team of professionals to get results is the rightful candidate to change the fortunes of this country.
According to him no Nigerian leader has been able to effectively mentor men and women to become leaders, holding high positions in government and soaring in their professional fields like Asiwaju’s pedigree has shown.
His words, “he has made leaders. Look at Nigeria today. Can you show me anybody like Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu who has mentored people? He has assembled the best team. He is a team player, look at his team, one is a vice president, some are ministers, while others are heads of parastatals.
“He’s a talent hunter and Nigeria needs a talent hunter. Someone that can assemble the best team in the world to keep Nigerian moving. Asiwaju is the rightful person Nigeria needs at this critical moment of our insecurity, disunity and so on”.
Kuso who commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for his efforts in bringing the needed change lamented that PDP has done a lot of damages to the country, which cannot be easily fixed, except by someone who has experience and the right capability.
“So we need someone like Asiwaju to continue the good works and legacy of President Buhari, to consolidate on them and sustain them”.
Speaking on some of the laudable project the Bola Tinubu Support Organization has done to impact the lives of Nigerians, Guso said, “we registered it as a non-government organization with the core mandate of sensitizing people in the north about the person of Tinubu.
“we itemize four programs to be done, which include giving scholarships, empowerment and mentoring people to become leaders.
He opined that Tinubu has a track record of success, saying, “see how he transformed Lagos state into a Dubai. His work is already known in the South West, so that’s why most of our programs are centered in the north to intimate the northerners about his good works.
“Lagos, presently is one of the 4th most economic developed state in the whole of west Africa. So if someone can raise an Internal Generated Revenue of a state from N500 million per month to N20 billion per month, what does that have to do with age?
“In Kano state we have empowered more than 500 people that are into Small and Medium Enterprise. Presently, we’re working on taking a hundred Kano state indigenes to Malaysia to go and study, courtesy of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we plan to replicate the same program in most of the states”.
“So I think it’s better we start thinking of good leadership, someone who has the capacity rather than thinking of age”. So nobody should say he is sick. He is fit. It’s just that we have found ourselves in an environment where propaganda thrives”.
On the security challenges the National Coordinator of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Support Organization said that negotiation with the bandits is still the best option.
“These bandits must have their grievances. We need to invite them to the drawing board and discuss the best options of settling disputes. We need to know their challenges, and find out why they are taking arms against the nation?
“Nigeria is too big to allow it to be destroyed. The total number of bandits and herdsmen are not more than 1 million. So how can 1 million people hold over 250 million to ransom?
