The Albino Foundation Public Notice
The International Islamic Relief Organisation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Friday, disbursed N131 million allowance to 1,960 orphans in Kebbi State.
Flagging off the exercise in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital, in Northwest Nigeria, Governor Abubakar Bagudu, expressed gratitude to the organization for the gesture and appealed for the sustenance of the programme.
The Kebbi State Governor Abubakar Bagudu, who was represented by Babale Umar, the Secretary to the State Government, assured that the present administration in the state had placed a premium on anything that involved orphans.
Babale Umar used the medium to also appeal to wealthy individuals in the society to come to the aid of orphans, to give them a sense of belonging.
He urged the benefiting orphans to be patient, as a new policy is being introduced, where they would be paid in four instalments, annually, the pilot scheme is introduced by the management of the organisation.
