As Muslims are willing to start of the holy month of Ramadan, charities and relief organisations are ensuring their generosity makes a difference to people with disabilities and those living in poverty and emergencies.
Dr. Musa Babayo Foundation has donates 5,000 to persons with disability in Katagum Local Government of Bauchi state to putting cheer on their faces during the Holy month of Ramadan.
Speaking during the distribution of cash to the beneficiaries at the residence of Dr Musa Babayo on Monday in Katagum Local Government, The represent of the foundation, said that the gesture is part of their efforts of the Dr Musa Babayo Foundation to put smiles on the faces of orphans and less privileged in the area.
According to him, the welfare of women and children is one of their top agenda, hence the reason to helping orphans and less privileged in the society.
In the responses, Mallam Ahmad Madara said the foundation give such kind gesture to persons with disability in Katagum once a year.
While thanking Dr Musa Babayo for the gesture, he prayed for the success of Dr Musa Babayo in all his endeavours.
Another beneficiary Marya Aminu, The women leader expressed her appreciation for the gesture and pray to Almighty Allah to reward him.
