The C4i Strike Force ( Octopus) Unit of the Rivers State Police Command has again extended the joy of the yuletide season to the less privileged and handicapped persons in the state.

Recalled that thesame unit during Christmas had reached out to the less privileged in parts of the state.

The unit led by its Commander CSP Julian Igbudu, in celebration of the new year, visited the Compassionate Centre for Physically Challenged/ Handicapped Children, Catholic Diocese of Port Harcourt, Trans Amadi where they presented items ranging from noodles, bags of rice, toiletries amongst others to the inmates.

The Commander noted that the empathetic visit and commitment to giving back to the community demonstrates the Commissioner of Police Rivers State, CP Olugbenga A. Adepoju, and his Management Team’s dedication to serving and protecting the people of Rivers State aligning with the Inspector-General of Police vision, emphasizing love, peace, care, cheer and international best practices.

The Police commander further called for collaborative efforts from well-spirited groups and organizations to make meaningful difference in the lives of the less privileged and fostering a safer and more compassionate society for all.
