As part of activities to mark the Ramadam season, the Hajiya Adama Dutsun Memorial Foundation at the weekend empowered some persons with disabilities with tricycles to aid their movement.
Distributing the gifts, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Foundation, Alhaji Mohammed Baba Alhassan said that the gifts were meant for the less privilege and persons with disabilities in the society.
He gave out fifteen (15) tricycles to persons with disabilities in Bida and its environment.
Describing the gesture as quite humane, Alhassan called for Allah’s guidance and ability to do much more while calling on Nigerians to use this season of Ramadam to be charitable to persons that need assistance.
He also called for prayers for Nigeria and the world saying, “we need to ask Allah for mercy so that we can overcome our many challenges, only he can guide our leaders to make the right decision to move the country forward.
Earlier some of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and urged other Nigerians to emulate the works of Hajiya Adama Dutsun Memorial Foundation who taught it wise to empower persons with disabilities.
