“The Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf, Inc. thanks our members and interpreters. We would not be who we are without you. Interpreting is one of the most challenging jobs one can have, and not many understand the mastery and competencies it takes to be an excellent interpreter.
“Often, as interpreters, we don’t know the outcome of our assignments. We don’t always see how our consumers feel about our work. At RID, we appreciate your commitment and dedication to our communities. Thank you to each one of you for your work.
“We want to take a moment today on Interpreter Appreciation Day to thank you for all you do. You represent the best of the best in the sign language interpreting profession.
