Disability Rights Advocacy Center (DRAC) has held her mid-year review and reflection meeting review.

The review was made available in DRAC September, 2022 newsletter.

“Individualized face-to-face communication is one of the richest channels of communication we practice in DRAC, which is why our annual reflection meeting has become an integral part of DRAC’s culture as an organization. It is an opportunity for our team to become closer, reflect on performance, provide each other feedback and assess how well we are doing so far in the year, it allows us take a pause from the daily hustle and bustle and forge a stronger bond that improves workplace communication and teamwork.

“Rich conversations and deep thoughts about the organization’s future characterized this year’s reflection meeting. Team members from DRAC’s five state offices (Abuja, Kano, Jigawa, Anambra, and Benue) came together, many of them meeting each other for the first time physically, we reflected on areas for improvement, what they had learned, and shared insights with one another, allowing them to share and scale the knowledge they had gained with others.

“Office trivia, educational tests, team-building exercises and capacity building on technical topics were some of the things covered in the sessions.

“Above all, the team enjoyed themselves and took a much-needed break from work.
