Worried over the increasing demand for a sustainable food system capable of boosting the economy of any nation, the Vamas Agro Limited yesterday revealed plans and strategies to make agriculture painless with its new innovations in farming, storage and packaging of agricultural products.
Awa Maxwell King, the Chief Executive Officer of Vamas Agro & Logistics, distributors and marketers of Geo Fertilizer explained that the company has various products and brands developed to make agriculture sustainable and accessible by all Nigerians.
Awa who was speaking when he paid a courtesy visit to Inclusion Magazine said “We have the ideal location for our supply chain acceleration. Our modern automation technology ensures that your orders arrive at the specified time, every time.”
“Vamas Agro Limited located in No. 98, Tarauni Market, Kano State has various products in its supply chain.
He listed the products to include, “Vamas Rice, milling plants and fertilizers”, explaining that all the brands are in various sizes which consist of small, affordable and accessible sizes.
According to Awa their products are safe and accessible to persons with disabilities, adding that Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) should contact them for more information on the various products they offer.
He stressed that most of their products are tailored in such a way that persons with disabilities can acquire them easily and even transport them without hurdles because of their unique sizes depending on the products they intend to use for their businesses.
He added that distributors are needed nationwide for all their product, especially the Vamas Rice in 25kg, Geo Plus and Geo Green Fertilizer (powder type), humun alkal for soil improvement, Herbicides, Pesticides and fungicides for crop protection.
“We have unit that deals with sales of Agricultural machines, equipment and implements, our equipment are designed appropriately for Nigerian farmers. We have competent and qualified agronomists, Agricultural engineers, and other skilled Agricultural workers that are always ready to serve our clients”.
