History was again made in Awka as Mr. Steven Eremi tied the nuptial knot with his heartthrob, Barrister Chinenye Okeke, the Secretary, Disability Rights Commission.

It was a joyous and distinctive event that attracted the Disability Family as Barrister Okeke in her wedding gown on clutches, looked amazingly beautiful beside her elegant husband.

But they do, and in many ways, their relationships are not different from others as in most cases, they are stronger and better.

Such is the case with Mr. Eremi, who found his diamond in his heartthrob Barrister Okeke, who is Living With Disability.

Their wedding reception, held at Stanel Dome in Awka, was graced by various dignitaries in the state.

Speaking, Barrister Ezewuzie expressed joy over the union and advised them to remain steadfast for God to strengthen and bless their marriage.

The mother and elder brother to the groom, Mrs. Gift Eremi and Mr. John Eremi revealed their initial displeasure over the choice the groom made but had a change of heart as one’s disability does not define one’s ability.

They prayed for the couple and thanked everyone, who came to celebrate with them.

For the sister to the bride, Mrs. Fanny Oguine, her joy over the union knew no bounds and prayed for a fruitful union.

Also, the bride’s colleagues, Barrister and Barrister Mrs. Sochima Achukwunonye while wishing the new couple a happy married life said that their union exemplifies undiluted love, which God has predestined.

Responding, Mr. and Barrister Mrs. Eremi, who narrated how they met and how beautiful and strong their relationship has been, thanked God for bringing them together as husband and wife despite all odds, praying for God’s blessing as they embarked on a lifelong journey together.
