APC Convention: APC Reinforces Their Disability Inclusion Drive, Appoints Pwds As Members In Different Committees

All Progressive Congress APC have continued to drive Disability Inclusion within their party.

In the recent released list of committees for the forthcoming convention of the party slated for 26th March 2022, individuals with disabilities in the party were not left out.

Five Persons With Disabilities were included in the different committees of the National Convention Committee of the ruling party

The names of PWDs, TQM spotted at the list are Hon. James Lalu – Deaf – Central Planning Committee

Joseph Dakop – Physically challenged – Entertainment and Welfare

Abba Isa – Physically challenged – Transportation and Logistics

Lois Auta – Physically challenged – Volunteers/Diaspora/Diplomats Accreditation Committee

Offiong Okon – Physically challenged – Digital Communications Committee.

TQM also gathered that PWDs forms part of the delegates for the convention from different states.

It is no longer news that the party have a post for Persons with Disabilities in their National Working Committee which is also part of the elective positions at the Convention.
