Federal Information Resources Center Donate Computer To The Niger State Association Of People With Physical Disability

The Zonal Coordinator Federal Information Resources Center Hajiya Asabe Garba donated a set of Desktop computer to the Association of People with Physical Disability, Niger State Chapter.
The Desktop computer was presented to the assocition during a send-forth event organized by Federal Information Resource Centre Minna, after training some of their members on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in conjunction with Institute of Continuing Education and e-learning (ICE-el), Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai.
Dr Aminu Wushishi Deputy Director (ICE-el), in His speech says it’s part of the Institute’s Coorporate Social Responsibility to partner with like-minds, MDA’s, adding that the institute is ready to partner with any cooperate body towards discharging it Cooperate Social Responsibilities.
During the event, the Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) Niger State Council our amiable Comr. Abu Nmodu pledge to support the course with the sum of N50,000 and encourage the beneficiaries to make good use of the knowledge acquired. And His counterpart comr. Hajiya, Rabi Bello chairperson NAWOJ. Promise to partner with the ministry to train NAWOJIANs on Information and Communication Technology (ICT), adding also that the beneficiaries should see this opportunity as a stepping stone and challenge for them towards making good inputs to both themselves and the society at large.
The highlight of the event was presentation of certificates to the participants, Cash Token, Desktop computer.
