Kebbi State Government on Thursday received 30 students of the Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri who were abducted about four months ago from their school by bandits.
This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Kebbi State Governor, Yahaya Sarki.
Receiving the freed students who arrived in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital, the state governor said “efforts are still continuing to secure their release of the remaining.
“They shall undergo medical screening and support while being re-united with their families.
“We thank all those who have helped in securing the release, while congratulating Mr. President, Muhammadu Buhari for the success.”
