VDI Distributes COVID-19 Palliatives To PWD

Voice of Disability Initiative (VDI) have distributed palliatives to various women with disabilities and the vulnerable in Abuja, Benue and Enugu states.

The items distributed include bags of rice, beverages, noodles, detergents cooking oil, tomatoes paste among others.

Voice of Disability Initiative (VDI) is a non-profit organization incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission. The board of trustees consist mostly of lawyers and other professionals who are passionate about disability inclusion. The organization’s mission is to empower persons with disabilities, especially women and young people with disabilities, and contribute in creating a world where the rights of persons with disabilities are safeguarded and no one is left behind.

The Chief Executive Officer, VDI, Barr. Catherine Edeh Chinyere featured in the current edition of INCLUSION Magazine on pages 34 and 35, in which she spoke on International Week for Deaf and other deaf awareness issues.
