NCPWD Commiserates With Balatsoho Musa Family, PWDs

The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons With Disabilities, Chief Ayuba Gufwan has comisorate with the family of Comrade BalaTsoho Musa whose demise occurred on the 19th October, 2024.

It was reported that Bala Tsoho Musa, The Principal of Abuja Rehabilitation Centre, was killed by unidentified assailant.

Musa, popularly known as “Comrade,” was reportedly found dead on Friday night inside the centre, located in Kuchiko, a community in the Bwari Area Council of Abuja.

The centre was originally set up by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) for skill acquisition training for beggars and others arrested in the territory for public nuisance.

The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons With Disabilities, Chief Ayuba Gufwan in a press release said “on behalf of the 35 .5 million Nigerians with disabilities, I want to sincerely express my heartfelt condolences to the family of Comrade BalaTsoho Musa whose demise occurred on the 19th October, 2024.

“We pray that the Almighty God grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

“The deceased was a pragmatic activist and an Educationist per excellence who contributed immensely to the realization of disability law and literacy of Children with Disabilities; he will not be forgotten in a hurry.

“We also use this medium to reaffirm the commitments of our Commission to the advancement of the inclusive agenda of Persons with disabilities in all the 774 local governments in Nigeria.

“Requiescat in pace.”
