The Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities Mr James David Lalu has commended Ms. Ekaete Umoh on her appointment as the new Country Director of CBM Global.

Lalu said that the appointment is well- deserved bearing in mind Umoh’s experience as the President of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD).

The ES in his message underscored the resilience, doggedness and leadership qualities of the newly appointed CBM Global Country Director for Nigeria and described her as an amazon of the PWDs community.

He also seized the occasion to wish Ms. Ekaete Umoh many more laurels in her future endeavours.

“she will forever remain an ambassador for persons with disabilities across the country and beyond” he concluded.
