The death has been announced of Alhaji Abdullahi B. Umar, Madaki Nupe.
In a Statement in Abuja by Hussaini Abdulrahman, Wakili Arewa Nupe, the Late A B Umar as he was popularly called died today, Wednesday, 21st April, 2021 in Kaduna after a brief illness.
The late Madaki Nupe after his successful civil service career ventured into private business. He was an entrepreneur and philanthropist who has done so much for his community in terms of industrialisation and Empowerment. He single handedly established Nupe Merchant, Vespa Manufacturing, Automotive Component Industry, Emo Electrical Industries and Ace Computers among others. He was a member of NACCIMA, MAN and others.
The remains of Late A. B. Umar has since left Kaduna for Bida where Janaiza prayer and final interment is scheduled to take place.
The Late Madaki Nupe is survived by two wives, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relations.
