Group Seeks Govt. Attention Towards Vulnerable Groups In The FCT

The Centre for Human Rights and Civic Education (CHRICED) is making a case for the social inclusion of Persons With Disabilities in the Federal Capital Territory.

The Programs and Communications Manager, Armsfree Ajanaku made the call during a visit to the PWDs in Abuja.

He said the visit was to fraternize with the physically challenged and to instil in them hope, confidence and a sense of belonging.

On his part, the Chairman of the Original Inhabitants of Person’s With Disabilities in the FCT,  Festus Yakubu appealed to governments at all levels to expedite action in addressing the varying needs of the group by way of skills acquisition and educational empowerment.
