Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has congratulated Wizkid and Burna Boy on their Grammy wins on Sunday. He made send the congratulations through his Twitter handle.
Former Vice-President states that talents abound in Nigeria and the awards to Nigerians at the just concluded Grammy Awards was an evidence that there is so much global talents in the country.
Among Nigerians awarded at the Grammy is Burna Boy who won the Best Global Music Album Category for his album Twice As Tall. Also, Wizkid was awarded for Best Music Video alongside Beyoncé and Blue Ivy for the ‘Brown Skin Girl’ music video.
Atiku Abubakar wrote on his Tweeter “I am delighted and proud as a Nigerian at Wizkid’s Grammy win. Wizkid is an epitome of talent that abounds in Nigeria. Congrats @wizkidayo.”
He also congratulated Burna Boy in a picture-tweet captioned, “Congrats @Burnaboy #Grammys”, for winning the Global Music Award.
