Disability Organizations Urged To Deepen Interaction And Collaboration With NASS

The Chairman, House Committee on Disabilities Matters,  Rt. Hon. Princes Miriam Onuoha has urged disability organization, CSO and leaders in the disability community to deepen interaction and collaborations with National Assembly in order to further advance the needs and address the plight and agitations of the committee of Persons with Disabilities.

She said “This committee therefore, based on your wealth of experience solicits your support towards achieving the full integration of Persons with Disabilities into the society through provision of education, health care, socio-economic and civil rights, we hope we can continue to count on you to render technical support by making inputs in the legislations and activities and other tasks as well that may be referred to the Committee for consideration. This will enable us to discharge our responsibilities and obligations to the committee of Persons with Disabilities.”
