ASLIN, NNAD Pledge Effective Collaboration For PWDs

Sign language professionals in the country, Association of Sign Language Interpreters of Nigeria (ASLIN) has promised to improve its working relationship with the Nigerian National Association of the Deaf (NNAD) towards improved welfare for the Deaf community.

President of ASLIN, Tinat Gwazah made the commitment in a statement in which he felicitated with the NNAD at the opening ceremony of her 31st Annual General Meeting holding in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Gwazah represented by Publicity Secretary of ASLIN, Stephen Mogul expressed delight at the great organization of the AGM.

He gave credit to the visionary leadership of NNAD’s National President, Dr. Chidi Olujie and his Executive members.

In another news, ASLIN National Executives seized the opportunity to officially inaugurate an Akwa Ibom State Chapter of ASLIN after a brief meeting.
